Description

The tables mention in the summary are on lsst10 in database ctio_apr08G.

Step 1: Tim should provide descriptions and clarify whether Gray_Surf and !NonGray_Extiction go to Raw_CCD_Exposure or elsewhere Step 2: Jacek should make schema modifications in EA

Step 1:

Gray_Surf gives coefficients that specify a second order spatial polynomial surface defined over the pixels of an Exposure, and the associated errors in those coefficients. The coefficients c0, cx1, ... , cxy multiply orthogonal polynomials of order 0, 1, and 2 in x and y, and order 1 in x*y. The orthogonality is defined over the set of x, y, and x*y for the set of DIASources in the Exposure that match through the Object table to a DIASource in the Exposure given by refExposureId. The units of the coefficients are magnitudes. The columns of Gray_Surf can be added to Raw_CCD_Exposure.

Each row of DIA_Poly gives, for a given DIASource specified by diaSourceId, the values of the orthogonal polynomials at the position of the DIASource. These columns could be added to DIASource.

NonGray_Extinction gives for each Exposure the value of the non-gray extinction (units magnitudes). This column can be added to Raw_CCD_Exposure.
